Would give 10 stars if I could. I've lived in the US for 11 years and went to plenty of Arabic restaurants all over the country, this is by far the most authentic that tastes exactly like food back home in Syria does. Every other so called Syrian/Lebanese restaurant (especially in Philly) should take a leaf out of this place's book.

I highly recommend the shawerma and fattah at Bawabet Alsham. Chef Samer is very experienced in all middle eastern dishes and sweets. Staff are friendly and good prices which is everything you can ask for.
